The Environmental Working Group has come out with the 2018 lists of produce with the most pesticide residue and those with the least. One strategy is to save your organic food dollars for the most contaminated fruits and vegetables. But it can be even more cost effective to concentrate on conventionally grown fresh food with the least pesticide residue. That list is called the Clean 15 and here it is in order.
And remember, whether conventional or organic, fresh fruits and vegetables are a key component of a healthy diet!
