Here’s what is on the program for the next edition of “Sunday Night at the Opera”, September 9. Host Alexa Petrenko give us a sneak peek:

“They say it takes two to tango, so this week I’ll play you some wonderful opera duets from timeless masterpieces like La Traviata, Dido and Aeneas, Der Rosenkavalier, Don Giovanni, all sung by some of the best singers of our time, including Anna Netrebko, Rollando Villazon, Susan Graham, Ian Bostridge, Natalie Dessay, and Anne Sofie von Otter. And just a heads up that there will be cats…..a feline tenor/countertenor performance of Rossini’s “Funny Duet for Two Cats”.

Sunday Night at the Opera (SNATO) airs Sunday evenings at 9 PM on The New Classical FM.
