Built in 1861, it was a former Police Station and Town Hall.
The Trent Port Historical Society saved the historical building and lovingly restored it in the 1990’s. Today 55 King Street is home to The Society and The Heritage Cafe….which is staffed by Volunteers and Students. There you can get “A Serving Of Soup, A Sandwich, A little History….All With A Smile”.
