Clyde’s the silly-face-making, tennis-ball loving sports fan with enough beans for the whole team. He loves nothing more than to run around chasing his ball. He’s the guy who wants to be outside. He is also smart, sensitive and (except for when he needs Barbara) very independent. He is very open minded and loves learning new things. So long as there are treats involved!
Barbara is the energetic, playful peach who loves being around her best friend, Clyde. For her, Clyde is her anchor, her guide. Walking, playing, cuddling, none of it is the same without him by her side. She can be a little nervous, what with all of life’s sudden sounds and strange people. But with Clyde her anxieties seem to fade away. Give this sweetheart some time and she will come bouncing out of her shell for the games and belly rubs!
Clyde and Barbara were found living inside of a small store in Mexico. Living a rough life on the streets, they found solace in one another and have since become inseparable.
They would be a great addition to a more active family with dog experience and who would never shy away from the group adventure. They are okay with other dogs so long as they get to meet them before coming home with you. They are also okay with children, so long as they are calm, gentle, and understanding of a dog’s body language. It will be important to have adults supervising their interactions with young children at all times.
