Tonight on “Sunday Night at the Opera”, host Alexa Petrenko features soprano Suzie LeBlanc’s recording “La Veillee  de Noel” (“Christmas Eve”). Here’s what Alexa has to say about tonight’s show:

“This week we gather around the hearth and celebrate the Christmas season Acadian style with soprano Suzie LeBlanc and her friends violinist David Greenberg, percussionist Nick Halley, and harpsichordist Alexander Weimann. The irresistible old carols come from an antique book of songs and rounds published in Paris in the late 1890’s, rescued by chance by LeBlanc’s New Brunswick cousin.”

“Sunday Nights at the Opera” airs at 9PM on The New Classical FM.
