You’re hired as a new conductor of a big band and move to a foreign country to start your new job. You’d be a bundle of nerves, right? So imagine  arriving at the airport to your new band welcoming you, “Cabaret” style. Miho Haza, Japanese composer and conductor, was recently hired to lead the Danish Big Band and the musicians showed up to welcome her – and she is so gobsmacked it takes her a moment to recover and take up the baton offered her – and switch over to her right hand to lead the group.

It’s fun to watch. Truly, “beautiful music for our crazy world”!
