AND… if you thought you would never find a use for that Peach Schnapps sitting in your cupboard, here’s a great cocktail that dates back to the late 1700s:
The Fish House Punch:
1 oz aged Rum
1 oz cognac
1 oz Peach schnapps
.75 oz lemon juice
.72 oz simple syrup (2:1)
2 oz tea (preferably Earl Grey)
Pour ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice, shake until very cold, then strain into a Collins glass full of ice. Dust with grated nutmeg (optional) and enjoy!
