Though Norm has been known to create beautiful red and pink cocktails for the occasion, there is no question that a crisp glass of bubbly is the reigning champion of Valentine’s Day.
To add a splash of romantic red to your evening, pair it with wild strawberries dipped in berry sugar (aka castor sugar). Delish and (almost) nutrish!

The big 3 are Champagne (France), Cava (Spain) and Prosecco (Italy). Champagne is always the most expensive and can be divine, but if you’d like a French bubbly without breaking the bank, look instead for anything called “Crémant” – Crémant de Bourgogne, Crémant de Loire or Crémant de Jura will all stand up well – and in some case, better! In the cava department, look for Segura Viudas or Nada.
