Baritone Brett Polegato, featured in Tafelmusik’s recording of “Messiah”

The holidays can be a wee bit stressful with planning and shopping to be done, but never fear! Our calming musical tour guide, host Michael Kramer has you covered. Here’s what he has to say about tomorrow’s show:

“Join us as we ease you into the holiday season with some glorious early music. We’ll set the scene with The Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra performing Arcangelo Corelli’s sparkling Christmas Concerto. ‘Messiah’ makes an appearance, as the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra welcomes the great baritone  Brett Polegato for a few excerpts from Handel’s masterpiece. And where’s the Bach? Fear not – part of his Christmas Oratorio will be unwrapped by The New London Consort as another special Sunday morning unfolds.”

“Zero to 1800” airs Sunday mornings at 10 AM on The New Classical FM.
