Tenor Joseph Kaiser, currently appearing as “Lensky” in the Canadian Opera Company’s Eugene Onegin, spoke with Mike and Jean on “Classical Mornings” about his role in this tale of the aimless dilettante Onegin, whose careless actions lead to tragedy for all involved. He also spoke of his encounter and collaboration with Sir Kenneth Branagh, and how music as sublime as Eugene Onegin affects the listener. (It’s worth it just to see Lensky cuddle up to his fiancee, Olga, played by mezzo soprano Varduhi Abrahamyan.)
