I’m quite fond of host Michael Kramer’s “Zero to 1800” show blurbs, which I always look forward to receiving in my inbox to prep these weekly reminders for you, our web feature readers. He admitted I should check over the spelling as he managed to tap this out on a “bouncy TTC bus”. Thank you, Michael – I can’t do any kind of texting, let alone eloquent writing, on a TTC bus – I’d get motion sickness.
Back to the music! In Michael’s words, here’s what to look forward to Sunday morning:
“Your mid-October Sunday morning sparkles with the Overture to the Bach Suite for Orchestra No. 2. We’ll serve up some special Scarlatti with guitarists Julian Gray and Ronald Pearl – and you don’t want to miss Handel’s sublime ‘As with rosy steps the morn’ with mezzo soprano Lorraine Hunt Lieberson from Handel’s Theodora.’
“Zero to 1800” airs Sunday mornings at 10 AM on The New Classical FM.
