Located in a field southwest of Owen Sound, the Keady Farmer’s Market is open Tuesdays from mid-May to October. Rain or shine, over 250 vendors bring fresh produce from their farms right to Keady.
It all began in 1950 with Keady’s Livestock Market, which still runs livestock auctions 48 weeks a year. In the warmer months, the market expands to include fruits, vegetables, meats, home baking, prepared foods, crafts and more!
It’s a community effort with eight to ten thousand weekly visitors. Vacationers and locals make a day of it, wandering through the cattle barns and shopping the farmers’ stalls.
The Keady Market – a rural success story, supporting local farmers for over half a century.
