Collingwood “Art on the Street” 2018. This year they are celebrating 8 years of showcasing the diversity and talent of their creative community “Taking Art To The Streets” with an outdoor gallery of hand-painted muskoka chairs created by artists of all ages and on display May 19th of the Victoria Day Weekend through October 6 on Thanksgiving Weekend. That weekend the chairs will be auctioned off.  Over 50 area artists designs were chosen; those selected artists took their unique vision and transformed it onto a muskoka chair.

The inspiration for this year was “Collingwood’s Historic Downtown through the Decades’ which honors  Collingwood’s 160th anniversary. The designs highlight historical buildings, past businesses, people and the celebrations that enriched Collingwood’s downtown. For more information visit Collingwood Downtown
