The Grey Roots Museum and Archives in Owen Sound is celebrating bells this winter season. The Winter Bells Exhibit is on now until Saturday March 31st.
You can hear “the bells on bobtail ring” as you investigate the peculiar past of James Lore Pierpont who was the writer and composer of the holiday classic Jingle Bells, which was originally entitled One Horse Open Sleigh. You can also learn how to ensure you’ll have a happy marriage through Celtic wedding bell traditions. Your family can explore the museums mystery objects in a scavenger hunt and trivia game. You will also have the chance to win a special prize. For more information, winter hours and directions visit Grey Roots Museum
