The Toronto Fringe Festival is still going strong. Here are four more shows.

Winston Spear is really a comedy performer. His company Dancycle is presenting Toys. It’s like a guy show with gadgets, but it is amusing as the cast moves exactly in time to music as it plays with airplanes and space ships in black light.

Kate Nankervis has choreographed twenty something for her AX-S Dance. The piece has some fetching moments as the four dancers go through the emotional rollercoaster of being young adults.

Femmes Du Feu performs aerial dance by choreographers Holly Treddenick and Sabrina Pringle. I find aerial dance eye-catching but it is still hard to tell a story through the tricks, although the six women did try to show the life cycle of womanhood.

Finally, Eyewitness Theatre Company from Manchester, England is presenting Peter McGarry’s new adaptation of Aristophanes’ Lysistrata. I found the text clever, but it needs sharper acting.

Toronto Fringe Festival continues until Jul. 12.
